Liberals keep Toronto Centre

Yesterday was the first step to having a new Toronto. It was a by-election. In this election there were 3 major parties running. The liberals who for this vote were run by the former major of Winnipeg Glen Murray. He won by getting 46 percent of the votes. In second it was the New Democrats led by Cathy Crowe who finished with 34 percent of the votes and than it was the Progressive Conservatives' Pamela Taylor who came in third racking up 16 percent of the votes. This is a big step in Toronto parliament and is good for everybody involved in parliament. Dalton McGuinty is very happy about what happened last night and says this is just one more step to building a better Toronto.

In my opinion I believe that Dalton McGuinty is right by saying that this is one more step towards building a better Toronto. Because this shows how much trust Torontonians have in Dalton McGuinty and the liberals in runnign the city. This is good because there will be less issue involving the mayor and the city since the mayor is well respect and party members are also well respected. This will open new doors for Toronto and create new opportunities or the community. I really like the Liberals, and I could vote it would be for them.
